A Festive Affair of Giving: Phoenix Events' Annual Christmas Lunch

The spirit of giving blended seamlessly with the joy of the season.

Stepping into the elegant Royal Gardens Hotel on Kensington High Street in London, I was greeted by familiar faces and a sense of camaraderie. Phoenix Fun Events stands as a testament to the power of friendship and shared purpose. Volunteering their time and energy, this dynamic group of friends has carved out a unique niche where fun and fundraising seamlessly intertwine. Their decision to direct all proceeds to carefully chosen charities reflects a commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Looking ahead to 2024, Phoenix Events has already set their sights on two new charities: Beams, dedicated to providing support services for children and young people with various impairments in Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks, and beyond; and The Daisy Garland, a beacon of support for families affected by drug-resistant epilepsy. As Phoenix continues to grow.

Notable personalities graced the occasion, adding a touch of glamour to the charitable affair. Angela Rippon, fresh from her impressive stint on Strictly Come Dancing, and Chrissie Walker-Hebborn were among the luminaries in attendance. The guest list also boasted well-known figures such as Gyles Brandreth, Judith Chalmers, Neil Durden-Smith, Annie Parsons, Lorraine Chase, Diana Moran, Joe Swash, and Fatima Whitbread, all united in their support for Phoenix's noble cause.

As we bid farewell to the remarkable Christmas lunch of 2023, we eagerly await the unfolding chapters of Phoenix Events' journey in 2024. The challenges may be many, but with a community united by the spirit of giving, there is no doubt that Phoenix will continue to soar to new heights, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of charitable endeavors.
